Scuttlebutt

We took Nana into the Everett farmers market. We walked down by the water and saw a seal bobbing along after the fishing boats. Mao and Pop met us at the market. We decided to go to Scuttlebutt for dinner. It was Wesley's first visit!

Beach adventure

Declan asked for an adventure today so we took the boys to a Richmond beach. Wesley enjoyed relaxing under the umbrella.

He also enjoyed eating while Declan built a sand castle, fished and did the playground!

Kla Ha Ya Days and 20 Corners

Saturday morning we went to the Kla Ha Ya Days Parade! Declan loves parades so we made sure to get there in plenty of time to get a great spot at the start of the parade in the shade!

Since we were at the start, Declan got a ton of candy and was thrilled with his haul. Wesley sat quietly in the moby wrap and took it all in.

Eventually he went to stand with Daddy in the shade. Daddy fed him and then he threw up all down Brad's shirt! Yuck!

After the parade, Declan walked on the river trail with Mao and Papa while Wesley and I relaxed in the shade. Then Declan found a bouncy house and popcorn!

Once we convinced Declan to leave the bouncy house, we walked around the street fair and then headed home.

In the evening we went to the one year anniversary of 20 Corners with Marcy and Rick. Rose also joined us for a little bit.

I had my first beer since November. It was delicious. We listened to live music and visited!

First full day at home

Today was our first full day at home with both boys! Wesley didn't sleep great as he's still figuring out day / night. He let me sleep maybe two hours between wanting to eat and be snuggled.

Thankfully Mao had sent us waffle mix for our breakfast so we didn't have to worry about trying to feed Declan after along night. Brad and Declan headed out to ride Declan's bike while I fed Wesley and figured out the breast pump.

Declan was super helpful all morning, fetching diapers, holding brother and being very sweet and kind.

We decided to walk to the local elementary school to play at the playground.

We all came home tired and ready for naps!

After naptime Wesley and I watered our plants while Declan and Brad got the pool ready for the hot weekend we're supposed to have.
