Great News

During the summer and early fall each time I ate shrimp Wesley had a reaction which included screaming, back arching, a rock hard stomach, extreme discomfort and fussiness for an extended period of time usually 12-24 hours. It was horrible. The pediatrician immediately suggested I no longer eat shrimp as it potentially could be an allergy. At his six month check up she suggested I have him allergy tested just to be sure. Yesterday after Declan's preschool we went to the allergy doctor. Wesley was poked six times with shrimp, crab, oyster, clam and two control histamines. All the reactions were negative so he's not allergic to shrimp! I no longer have to worry about him not breathing if he comes into contact with shell fish. The doctor did say that he could have a food intolerance and it may upset his stomach, but it's safe for me to have!

Concentration

Wesley is concentrating so hard while trying to explore his toys!

The best outfit for trying new food

When Wesley tries new food it’s best if he’s undressed

Wesley’s fingernail fiasco

We got home this afternoon and Wesley really needed his nails cut.  he’s been scratching his head terribly when sleeping. I sat down to cut them and just as I was finishing I cut him badly. He bled for almost 40 minutes.
During the bleeding, Declan went poop. He came running out to tell me and there was poop all over him. So I had to lay Wesley down on the ground, screaming and bloody and go clean up Declan.
When I came back there was blood on the floor all around where he was laying. I finally got it to stop bleeding by holding his little hand above his heart and pressing hard.
Now I have two bandaids on it and socks on his hands so he doesn’t chew off the bandaids and choke.

Olivia likes his sock hands!

Declan wanted sock hands too.

Swimming lessons

On Wednesday Wesley had his last lesson of this session. We got to do the waterside! He loved it. We did it three times and each time we popped out with a smile on his face!
