River Time at the Cabin

We got to spend a relaxing afternoon at the river! The boys went for a hike in the morning and them came back to play in the sand and float in the river! Declan and Wesley built a sand castle and moat. 

 Wesley had sand all over his entire body! He was eating it!

 He didn't like having the sand removed from his face!

Wesley's First Fourth of July!

We headed up to the cabin for Fourth of July. Brad was able to take a few days off so we stayed from Tuesday evening until Sunday morning! 

Fourth of July morning we spent hanging around the cabin. 

Mid morning we headed into Skykomish to ride the train! Declan and Wesley both enjoyed it!

We took a break from the trains to walk around Skykomish. Declan met these deer. Then we got our usual ice cream cones, before heading back for a couple more rides on the train.

We went home to the cabin for lasagna dinner. Then we packed up and headed to the ball park for the fireworks. Before the show started the boys tried out the new playground.

They also explored the fire truck. 

Last we got to light sparklers and see a great fireworks show put on by the firefighters. Both the boys were entranced by the fireworks.
