Days at home with me

January was a quiet month for Wesley and me. His toddler class was cancelled due to snow and his tumble class was cancelled because his teacher had the flu! We tried to keep our days busy and full while we wait patiently for Declan to come kindergarten. 

 Wesley has recently decided that he likes pepperoni. Yes, he's sitting on the toilet!

While putting away the Nativity Wesley found the last few Christmas cookies and managed to stuff himself with several! He loves cookies.

Wesley also loves to help in the yard. He helped me cut apart our Christmas tree and shove it in the yard waste bin! What a great helper! 

Just like his big brother he loves to dance around and wiggle his bottom at me! 

Zoo day

On Monday Brad had taken the day off since the boys didn't have school. We were supposed to go on an adventure in the snow, but ended up taking Declan to see Dr. Chilcote. After our appointment we decided to go to the zoo. The boys had a great time. We used our membership tickets to ride the carousel and feed the penguins! 

The boys loved checking out the Komodo dragons and the statue outside the exhibit.

The new tiger Bummi was sunbathing so we go an up close view of him! It was a wonderful afternoon. 

After the zoo we went to Scuttlebutt for dinner with Mao, Pop and cousins Doug and Sandy! 

Wrestle mania

Wesley absolutely loves to wrestle! He would wrestle all day long if he could. Wesley and I were home together while Declan was skiing with Brad. Wesley was playing quietly so I sat down with a nice hot cup of tea, only to be tackled and wrestled right off the couch! 

Snow Day

We had just enough snow to go for a ride down our big hill. Both boys absolutely loved and screamed with joy. The rode was so slick that I had a hard time getting us stopped as we flew towards the metal mailbox! We landed safely and did it again all morning long! 

Not a snowy day

 We had a snow day with hardly any snow at our house. The boys were so excited to go out and play in the snow, but there wasn't anything to play in! We went for a chilly walk on the trail instead.
