Macaroni Maniacs

Both the boys like having macaroni and cheese for lunch! It’s so much easier to only make one lunch too. 

Playground, boardwalk hair pulling and gardening

After preschool we went to the park to run around, play and eat a donut! Declan loved pushing Wesley on the swing! 

After playing we went for a walk on the boardwalk. Declan practiced balancing, looked for critters and ran. 

 We stopped to take a couple of pictures. Wesley loves being able to reach Declan's head. He had to give his hair a good yank or two. Declan was yelling "stop Fat Head!" I was giggling while he yelled at Fat Head!

 On the way home for the park Declan told me he wants me to change his brother's name to Fat Head since he has such a big brain! Ha!

Wesley took a nap at home while Declan and I did some yard work. After his nap Wesley joined us outside. Declan brought us a picnic snack of strawberries, bananas and a bottle for W.

Declan worked hard to trim the barberry bush. Wesley worked on moving the bark.

Olivia

Yesterday we said goodbye to our 17 year old kitty Olivia. While it was difficult to say goodbye to her and we are feeling sad, it was the best decision for her. She was in kidney failure was in pain. Olivia was sweet and cuddly right until the end. She especially loved Wesley and he loved petting (attacking) her with his slobbery hands!

We are giving Bo extra love and snuggles since she misses her momma.

Sunny afternoon

Yesterday the sun peeked out so we went out to ride bikes. Declan is getting faster and loves when Wesley and I chase him with the stroller!

I got so dizzy chasing Declan in circles we had to take a break to pull some weeds. 

Then Declan got out his bubbles. Wesley hadn’t seen bubbles before so he was delighted. The wind was blowing hard and he wasn’t quite able to catch any. He loved clapping his hands and reaching for the bubbles! 

Rainy afternoon

We spent a rainy afternoon at Ferguson Park with the Hanson girls! We walked down by Blackman’s lake after playing at the playground. 

Grospe Visit

Sam brought the kids over to our house to play on Thursday during Spring Break. After playing for a couple of hours, we headed over to McDonalds. The weather was very rainy so it was a great place to have some lunch together and then get out all their wiggles in the play area! Declan loved having his friends over to play!
