First Santa Visit

First Thanksgiving

Wesley  had a very quiet first Thanksgiving. Unfortunately Declan was running a fever so we had to stay home and miss out on dinner in Snohomish with the family. I drove up to Snohomish and got our dinner from Mao’s house and brought it home for us to enjoy. 

After dinner we got out Christmas decorations. Wesley loves all the decorations that light up and make noise.

First Christmas Tree

Friday morning Wesley had his first Black Friday shopping trip! We went to Fred Meyer with Mao to get socks and a few other items. We had a very successful trip although Wes slept through nearly all of it! 

After shipping we went to get our Christmas tree. Wesley was awake and enjoyed the cool, fresh air in the valley. We chose our tree pretty quickly. Declan and daddy cut it down while Wesley and I observed. While they carried it to the car Wesley and I helped Mao and Pop pick a tree. 

Obviously it was a very bright day!

Next we headed to Mao and Pop’s for Thanksgiving leftovers. Then we went to our house where Papa delivered our tree and we decorated it as a family. Wesley loved the sparkly lights and all of the beautiful ornaments on our tree. He loves to stare at the lights and is  captivated by our tree!

Wesley finally enjoyed sitting in his bumbo while I are lunch! 

Visiting Great Nana Hope

I took the boys to visit Nana in their Halloween costumes. She loved seeing Batman and Robin. 

Declan adores his Great Nana Hope! 

We ate macaroni and cheese and monkey bread and played together! Nana held Wesley nearly the entire visit, bouncing him, singing to him and feeding him. She was a baby hog! Wesley just smiled and smiled at her and snuggled right in for more!
