Nana visit

After Declan swimming lesson on Thursday we surprised Nana by stopping by her condo. We normally go on Tuesdays but haven't been able to make it because of my doctor appointment. She nearly didn't answer the door since her hair was still in her curlers. I kept knocking on till she came! Wesley was excited to see her and even gave her a little smile.

Doctor visit

I had my six week check with my doctor on Tuesday. Wesley accompanied me to the appointment. My doctor was excited to meet him for the first time since she wasn't able to be there for the delivery. Wesley charmed her, of 
course.

Roll over

Declan and I were trying to get Buggy to lift up his head on video. He surprised us with a roll over at six weeks old! 

First Trip to the Cabin

This weekend we were finally able to make it to the cabin. We drove up Friday night and got up Saturday morning for a hike.

Wesley was awake before the sun so he and I took a sunrise walk around the development before everyone else was awake. We devoured monkey bread with Mao and Pop for breakfast before Uncle Scott, Elias and Bennett arrived to hike to Tonga Ridge with us. With three little boys and a baby it was a slow but exciting walk. We saw Sasquatch hair and looked for the Gruffalo as we walked. The weather was perfect and the views were beautiful!

That evening we had spaghetti for dinner before a short rest followed by roasting marshmallows!

In the morning after a breakfast of eggs and bacon we headed into Skykomish so Declan could take Wesley on his first train ride! He loved it and looked around the whole ride. He also rang the bell inside the train depot.

After the train ride we went back to float and relax by the river. We had a great time. Wesley enjoyed a nap in the shade while Declan played in the sand and floated. Last Declan had a big water fight with Pop, Brad and Mao. He ended up drenched and cold!
